For the second time within a year, the White House echoed with the strains of the iconic Indian patriotic song, "Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara," during the annual Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month celebrations. The song, penned by Mohammad Iqbal during India's Independence struggle, was played by the White House's Marine Band upon the request of Indian Americans attending the reception, attended by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Indian American community leader Ajay Jain Bhutoria expressed pride in witnessing the song's rendition at the White House, emphasizing its significance in strengthening the India-US relationship. Reflecting on the growing bilateral ties, Bhutoria highlighted President Biden's acknowledgment of India as a consequential partner and the role of Indian Americans as a vital link between the two nations.
