'No one respects CBI like the traffic police': Mayor Firhad Hakim

Mayor Firhad Hakim, alongside State Minister, reinforced Bengal's allegiance to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, highlighting the state's unwavering support amidst ongoing scrutiny by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Emphasizing the significance of public trust, Hakim remarked, "no one respects CBI like the traffic police," underscoring the importance of community integrity over external intervention in electoral processes.

Furthermore, Hakim rebuffed the notion of conducting elections solely with the assistance of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), asserting that Bengal's electorate stands firmly behind Mamata Banerjee. Dismissing allegations of infiltration and religious polarization, Hakim emphasized Bengal's diverse population and condemned attempts by political rivals to sow discord. "All the people living in Bengal are not infiltrators," he stated, condemning the BJP's purported agenda of religious polarization.
