Trinamool MP Saayoni Ghosh has voiced her concerns about the Central Bureau of Investigation's (CBI) handling of the tragic RG Kar Hospital incident, where a female doctor was raped and murdered. Despite the investigation being transferred to the CBI, MP Ghosh expressed disappointment that no arrests have been made even after 12 days.
Speaking at a function in Khardah, MP Ghosh stated, "CBI has taken the case in its hands, but even after 12 days, they have not arrested anyone yet. I have no confidence in CBI because they have not been able to solve many previous cases to date."
The event was also attended by Agriculture Minister Sobhan Deb Chattopadhyay, who made a startling claim, describing the RG Kar incident as part of a "big conspiracy" and suggesting that it was executed with specific planning within the hospital.
