Bidhannagar Mayor Krishna Chakraborty resigns, another massive blow to TMC
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has emerged as a massive box office phenomenon, breaking multiple records within just 11 days of its release. The Ranveer Singh-starrer has crossed ₹1,361.95 crore worldwide, including ₹1,012.49 crore gross in India, making it one of the fastest and biggest successes in Indian cinema history.
The film’s biggest milestone has come in North America, where it has overtaken Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the highest-grossing Indian film in the region. With earnings surpassing $22 million (around ₹183 crore) in just 10 days, it has broken a nine-year-old record and set a new benchmark for Indian films overseas.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has now entered the list of top five highest-grossing Indian films of all time, joining titles like Dangal, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Pushpa 2: The Rule, and KGF Chapter 2. It has also surpassed the lifetime earnings of its predecessor and major blockbusters such as RRR.
The film has delivered exceptional performance across key markets, including Australia, where it has become the highest-grossing Indian film, and in the Hindi belt, where it has broken several records. From the biggest Hindi opening day to the highest first-week collection, the film has consistently outperformed previous benchmarks set by recent blockbusters.
With ₹300 crore earned globally over a single weekend and no signs of slowing down, Dhurandhar 2 continues its record-breaking run, further cementing its position as one of the most successful Indian films ever and redefining box office standards both in India and internationally.
