Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday alleged that ED officials were attempting to seize TMC's hard disks, internal documents and sensitive organisational data during a search operation at the residence of I-PAC chief Prateek Jain. She arrived at the office premises of Jain following ED's raid.
"ED took all our data, party policy data, candidate list, booth president list from IPAC office and Pratik Jain's house," said Mamata. She described the raid at the residence of Jain as politically motivated and unconstitutional. I-PAC also looks after the IT cell of the Trinamool Congress. She also said, "I will wait for Pratik to come and settle down at his office comfortably, till then I am here".
This comes after the Enforcement Directorate conducted raid at houses of IT chiefs of various political parties including TMC's IPAC chief Prateek Jain. The raids were carried out at 15 location in connection with a fake government job scam allegedly run by an organised gang that duped people by promising jobs, officials said.
