TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee adopted a highly aggressive stance today during a protest rally held at Dharmatala's Y-Channel. Invoking the slogan "Larenge ya Marenge" (We will fight or we will die), she declared from the public platform that as long as she is alive, she will continue the struggle to oust the BJP from power. Beyond political rhetoric, Banerjee issued a direct threat to besiege 'Nabanna' (the State Secretariat) and 'Lalbazar' (the Police Headquarters), alleging that attempts are being made to suppress the voice of the opposition.

However, the attendance of leaders at the protest site raised several questions. Amidst her removal from the Chief Minister's post and ongoing internal friction within the party, only five Members of Parliament and a few MLAs were seen participating in the sit-in. Political analysts view this as a sign of Banerjee’s waning organizational grip, especially as the new government led by Suvendu Adhikari has already taken charge of the state.

Despite the visible lack of high-profile support, Mamata Banerjee used the opportunity to urge her remaining supporters and party workers to prepare for an upcoming decisive struggle. Her speech focused on themes of resistance, claiming that the movement would soon spread to every corner of West Bengal to challenge the current administration's authority.
