BJP leader Dilip Ghosh launched a sharp attack on the Left Front’s brigade rally in Kolkata, likening it to annual festivals. Speaking to reporters, Ghosh said, "Just like Durga Puja and Kali Puja happen every year, the brigade happens too. But there is no benefit from it." His comments came after the Left organized a massive show of strength at the historic Brigade Parade Ground.

Ghosh further mocked the rally, questioning its political relevance. He said the Left Front continues to hold large gatherings but fails to convert the enthusiasm into actual electoral gains. According to him, such events are now more symbolic than impactful.

Adding to the criticism, Trinamool Congress spokesperson Kunal Ghosh also took a swipe at the Left Front. He pointed out that the party, which once ruled Bengal for 34 continuous years, has now been reduced to zero. "They show their strength in the brigade but remain zero when it comes to votes," Kunal Ghosh remarked.

Kunal also took a dig at the apparent closeness between the Left and BJP, suggesting that they were two sides of the same coin. "In reality, Ram and Bam are one," he said, hinting at an alleged understanding between the two camps despite their public posturing.

The back-to-back attacks from both BJP and Trinamool Congress reflect the growing irrelevance of the Left Front in Bengal's current political landscape. While the brigade rally remains a nostalgic event for Left supporters, its electoral impact seems to be fading fast.

As the political temperature rises ahead of elections, parties are leaving no stone unturned to target each other, and the once-dominant Left Front finds itself caught in the crossfire.
