The father of the girl at the centre of the alleged rape case has denied all claims of sexual assault and said there is no connection between his daughter and the arrested individual. According to him, he received a phone call at 9:34 PM informing him that his daughter had fallen from an auto and was unwell. He was later told that she had been admitted to the neurology department of SSKM Hospital.
He stated that his daughter was taken to the hospital by officers from Haridevpur police station. However, he also mentioned that the police did not clarify where or how his daughter had been found. The exact circumstances leading to her hospitalisation remain unclear, and the family is yet to receive complete information about the incident from the authorities.
After returning home, the girl reportedly told her father, “Nothing like that happened to me; no one physically harmed me.” She also stated that the person who has been arrested is not connected to her in any way. Her father added that he hasn’t been able to speak to her openly yet as she is still resting and confirmed that she has not filed any complaint so far.
