If Firhad is 'pen', Mamata is 'ink': CM Suvendu slams TMC regime over KMC corruption
Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday strongly criticised Humayun Kabir over his recent remarks, describing them as highly unfortunate and confirming that two FIRs have been registered against him. Referring to Humayun Kabir's statement made on June 26, the Chief Minister said Humayun had suggested that he should reduce his visits to Murshidabad and claimed that if he mobilised the masses, no one would even be willing to carry the BJP flag. The Chief Minister stated that it was time to teach people like Humayun a lesson, asserted that he was not a weak Chief Minister, said police would take action against him, and remarked that Humayun wanted his son to win from Rejinagar. He also referred to the fate of Sheikh Shahjahan and the condition of "Pushpa," announced that he would visit Murshidabad within a week, and stated that Humayun's latest speech was filled with hatred.
