'Rajbhavan is open, visit and verify if any arms are stocked', says Bengal Governor after TMC MP Kalyan's allegation

In a fiery standoff that's gripping Bengal politics, Governor C.V. Ananda Bose has challenged Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee after his explosive allegations that arms and ammunition are stocked and being handed out to BJP goons from Raj Bhavan to target TMC workers. In response, Governor CV Ananda Bose declared Rajbhavan is open for the MP and members of the civil society and the journalists not exceeding 100 in numbers to visit Rajbhavan and verify if any arms and ammunition are stocked or not as alleged by Kalyan Banerjee.

The Rajbhavan official statement added more, that If it is not correct then MP Kalyan Banerjee has to apologise to the people of Bengal and face prosecution for hate speech and since the Kolkata Police is guarding Rajbhavan, an immediate inquiry may be held how they allegedly permitted arms and ammunition to be brought into the Rajbhavan which is a threat to the Governor who is under  Z plus category security and his Rajbhavan staff. 

The Governor’s security officers advised him to leave the Rajbhavan premises to a safe place till the enquiry on illegal arms and ammunition inside Rajbhavan is completed. Governor CV Ananda Bose said that he will be in Rajbhavan only. To escalate the matter further, Rajbhavan will request the Hon’ble Speaker of Lok sabha to conduct an inquiry into the matter since grave allegations is made by a Member of Lok Sabha. As Bengal's political temperature soars, this story not only tests the fragile truce between the Governor and the ruling party camp but also raises tough questions about accountability, security protocols, and the role of public figures in fueling divisive rhetoric.
