"Still called cheater": Ranbir Kapoor on casanova image after relationships with Deepika and Katrina

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor recently addressed his 'casanova' image during an appearance on Nikhil Kamath's podcast. Kapoor revealed that his past relationships with high-profile actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have significantly impacted his public persona. "I dated two very successful actresses, and that just became my identity that he is a casanova. I was labelled cheater for a very large part of my life and still, I am," he shared. Despite these challenges, Ranbir mentioned that he continues to bear the brunt of these labels even today.

During the podcast, Ranbir also discussed his struggles with seeking therapy, admitting that he found it difficult to open up. "I have tried therapy. I have nothing against therapy, it’s just that I have to open myself up and I’m very scared of opening up," he explained. Reflecting on his highly publicized romances, Ranbir noted that his relationship with Deepika Padukone began during the filming of Bachna Ae Haseeno in 2008 but ended in 2009 amidst allegations of infidelity. He then dated Katrina Kaif from 2010 to 2016 before their eventual breakup. Ranbir is now married to Alia Bhatt, with whom he shares a daughter, Raha Kapoor.
