Avneet Kaur, a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry, has bravely shared distressing experiences from her childhood, revealing instances of inappropriate touching and verbal abuse. Speaking in a recent interview, Kaur recalled an incident during her dance rehearsals at the age of eight, where she was subjected to inappropriate physical contact.
This experience prompted her mother to educate her about the distinction between good and bad touch, a lesson that has stayed with her. Subsequently, at the age of twelve, while navigating the early stages of her acting career, Kaur faced verbal abuse from a director. She was given a demanding monologue and, when she faltered during the performance, the director harshly criticized her, using abusive language and declaring that she was incapable of success in the industry.
This incident deeply affected Kaur, shattering her self-confidence. The actor went on to clarify that she does not use fillers. She said that she does take care of her skin by getting facials. She also addressed rumors surrounding her appearance, denying the use of fillers and emphasizing her natural features. In her professional life, Avneet is now anticipating the release of her upcoming film, "Love in Vietnam," which was unveiled at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. The film, directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, also features Vietnamese actor Kha Ngan and Shantanu Maheshwari.
