Senior administrative and police officials conducted a ground-level review of election preparedness in Raniganj, signalling heightened vigilance ahead of polling. The Commissioner of Police of the Asansol–Durgapur Police Commissionerate, along with the District Magistrate, visited the Ballavpur area, including Ronai, to assess security arrangements and interact directly with local residents to gauge the prevailing election atmosphere.
During the inspection, officials assured citizens that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure free, fair, and peaceful elections. They urged voters to exercise their democratic rights without fear or pressure, emphasizing that sensitive areas are under close surveillance. Increased police deployment and strict monitoring have been put in place, with authorities warning that any attempt to disrupt law and order will be dealt with firmly.
