Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a rally in Rajasthan’s Bikaner on Thursday, issued a fiery warning to Pakistan in response to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam. Referring to the tragic incident where terrorists reportedly targeted civilians based on their religion, PM Modi said the nation had vowed a swift and unforgettable retaliation — and delivered it within 22 minutes.

In a highly emotive tone, the Prime Minister stated, “Pakistan forgot one thing — now Modi, the servant of Mother India, is standing here. Modi's mind is cool, but in his veins flows hot sindoor, not blood.” He described the sindoor as a symbol of his unwavering dedication to the country and his unrelenting energy to protect its citizens.

PM Modi emphasized that those who tried to wipe the sindoor from women’s foreheads had been buried in the soil by India’s armed forces. “The bullets fired in Pahalgam that day pierced the hearts of 140 crore Indians,” he said. The Prime Minister praised the military’s response, declaring that terrorist camps were reduced to rubble in less than half an hour.

Asserting India’s tough stance on terrorism, Modi underlined that the Indian army, navy, and air force were given complete freedom to act. He credited their coordinated efforts for creating a “Chakravyuh” that forced Pakistan into submission. “Those who once took pride in their weapons are now hiding, their pride buried with them,” he added.

Apart from the strong national security message, PM Modi also inaugurated the newly redeveloped Deshnoke railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and laid the foundation for key infrastructure projects across Rajasthan. These included electrification of major railway lines and public welfare initiatives amounting to ₹26,000 crore. He also visited Nal Air Force Station — previously targeted by Pakistan — to interact with the armed forces and boost morale.
