“Who will form INDIA Bloc?” Agnimitra Paul calls TMC ‘tukde-tukde gang’

West Bengal minister Agnimitra Paul launched a sharp attack on both the Trinamool Congress and the INDIA alliance, claiming that the opposition bloc lacks unity and that TMC has become deeply divided. Speaking on the current political situation, she said, “It doesn’t really matter because right now, TMC is fragmented into many pieces. We didn’t know that TMC soon will become a tukde tukde gang.”

Questioning the relevance of the INDIA alliance, Paul said several opposition parties were not on the same page. Referring to reported differences within the bloc, she stated, “And what INDIA alliance bloc are you talking about?” She further alleged that leaders of alliance partners had raised objections over participation and coordination within the opposition grouping.

Paul also cited positions she attributed to various opposition leaders while questioning the future of the alliance. She referred to reported disagreements involving leaders from Left parties, Congress, RJD and DMK, and suggested that these developments reflected a lack of cohesion within the opposition camp.

Continuing her criticism, Paul said, “So who will form INDIA alliance? Where is INDIA alliance?” She further claimed that the alliance no longer had public support and added, “It has already been discarded by 140 crore people of Bharat.”
