11-Year-old appears in Supreme Court to prove he's alive amidst own murder trial

In a peculiar turn of events, an 11-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit made a unique appearance before the Supreme Court to assert his existence during his own murder trial. Abhai Kumar, the boy, refuted the murder charges against his grandfather and uncles, claiming his father had falsely implicated them.

Abhai's counsel, Kuldeep Jauhari, explained that the boy had been living with his maternal grandfather since 2013, following alleged abuse by his father. The case originated from a bitter legal battle between the father and the grandfather, with accusations ranging from dowry-related violence to the murder of the 11-year-old.
