By-polls announced on 6 Assembly & 1 Lok Sabha seat of Bengal on Nov 13
Leaders of 14 opposition parties, including Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, MK Stalin, and Nitish Kumar, are set to convene in a virtual meeting tomorrow at 11:30 am as part of the INDIA alliance's ongoing efforts to counter the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting holds significance as discussions will not only focus on seat-sharing strategies but may also lead to a consensus on appointing Nitish Kumar as the coordinator of the alliance. The agenda for the January 13 meeting has not been disclosed yet, but it is anticipated to address issues related to state-wise seat distribution, which has been a sticking point in previous meetings.
