An accident occurred on Tuesday when 15-year-old Brijesh Singh was fatally struck by a truck while returning home from his coaching class. The incident took place near Kalikan Inter College in the Sangrampur police station area, raising concerns about pedestrian safety in the locality.
Brijesh, a resident of Bhausinghpur, was on foot when the truck hit him. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck was speeding, and the impact was severe. Local authorities quickly arrived at the scene, and Brijesh was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The community is mourning the loss of the young boy, who was known for his dedication to education.
The truck driver was apprehended by the police and is currently in custody. Station House Officer (SHO) Ish Narain Mishra confirmed that an investigation is underway to gather more details about the accident, including reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to establish the sequence of events leading to the collision. To determine the exact cause of death, Brijesh's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
