A construction mishap during the development of a four-lane road near Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, left two women severely injured when a tree, being removed by the forest department, fell onto a residential house. The accident occurred during an attempt to remove a tree using a tractor and rope, causing it to collapse onto the nearby house. Locals assisted in transporting the injured women to the district hospital for treatment, where they are currently under medical care.
