2022 TET pass candidates stage sit-in near APC tower demanding 50,000 teacher appointments, clash with police

A rally to the APC Building was held demanding the publication of a complete and transparent list of candidates who passed the 2022 Primary TET and hold D.El.Ed. degrees, as well as the immediate and fair recruitment of at least 50,000 vacant posts.

When the protestors marched from Karunamoyee to the APC Building, they were stopped by the police. At this moment, the job aspirants are staging a sit-in protest on the road. This protest comes in the wake of a similar ongoing agitation by SSC candidates over the cancellation of 2016 panel and loss of 26,000 jobs.
