South Bengal gets new rail connectivity: Purulia-Bankura-Howrah MEMU service inaugurated today
At least three Border Security Force (BSF) personnel lost their lives, and several others were injured when the bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in the Brell Waterhail area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday. According to officials, the bus was carrying 36 BSF troopers when the accident occurred.
The tragic incident resulted in more than two dozen personnel sustaining injuries. All injured troopers are currently receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility. Local authorities, including the police, have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating the cause of the crash.
The accident highlights the challenges faced by security forces operating in difficult terrain and conditions in Kashmir.
