3 dead bodies recovered from locked Kolkata flat; Father-mother and daughter commit suicide!

Hanging dead bodies of three family members were found in a locked flat in Regent Park, Kolkata. The deceased individuals have been identified as Bijay Chatterjee, his wife Ranu Chatterjee, and their daughter Oindrila Chatterjee. Bijay was a businessman, while Oindrila was a law student.

The flat had been closed for several days, prompting complaints of a foul odor from local residents. On Sunday morning, the police were informed and broke the lock to enter the premises. Inside, they found the three bodies hanging from a white rope. While the police suspect suicide, no suicide note has been found. The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination to determine the cause of death.

According to police reports, the deceased had been living in the flat as the tenant for the past six months. The investigation revealed that the family's permanent address is Brahma Samaj Lane in Garden Reach, and three Aadhaar cards were found in a cupboard. Oindrila was a third-semester law student at LDJ College of Law in Falta.
