NIA searches Saokat Molla’s home and party office, son questioned in Bhangar blast case
A partially demolished building collapsed on Rajkumar Bose Lane near Creek Row in central Kolkata amid heavy rainfall. The structure was being taken down for a new construction project when a section of it suddenly crumbled. The incident occurred while several labourers were working at the site. Continuous rainfall is suspected to have weakened the structure.
Three workers sustained injuries in the collapse and were rescued by locals before being taken to a nearby hospital. The area has been cordoned off, and officials have initiated an inspection of nearby buildings. No fatalities were reported at the time of the incident.
