A tragic incident occurred in Jorawarpura village, Kota, where a three-year-old girl, Gorvika Nagar, died after being accidentally locked in a car for nearly two hours. The incident happened on Wednesday evening while her parents were attending a wedding.
Gorvika's parents, Pradeep Nagar and his wife, along with their two daughters, had traveled to the village for the wedding. Upon arrival, Gorvika's mother and elder sister exited the car, while her father parked it. Pradeep mistakenly believed Gorvika had left with his wife and elder daughter, and he locked the car. Simultaneously, Gorvika's mother assumed she was with her father.
During the festivities, the parents did not notice Gorvika's absence. It was only after two hours that they realized Gorvika was not with either of them. Rushing to the parking lot, they found her unconscious in the back seat of the car. They immediately took her to the nearest hospital, but she was declared brought dead by the doctors.
The family denied an autopsy and any police proceedings regarding the incident, according to the police.
