30 injured in lorry accident en route to Shiva's Jalabhishek in Tarakeshwar

On their way to Tarakeshwar in Hooghly for Shiva's Jalabhishek, a small lorry overturned near Bighati Junction on Delhi Road, causing injuries to 30 people, including five children
According to reports, three of them are in critical condition.
The injured were rushed to the Chandannagar Mahakuma Hospital for treatment

On their way to Tarakeshwar in Hooghly for Shiva's Jalabhishek, a small lorry overturned near Bighati Junction on Delhi Road, causing injuries to 30 people, including five children.

According to reports, three of them are in critical condition. The injured were rushed to the Chandannagar Mahakuma Hospital for treatment.

The incident occurred during a time when many devotees were on their way to Tarakeswar to perform the ritual of pouring water on Shiva's head. Despite repeated warnings by the police, several drivers did not heed the advice and continued driving in a reckless manner. Blood stains were visible at the accident spot.

The local authorities have launched an investigation into the matter, and strict action will be taken against those found responsible.
