30 injured in wall collapse during religious function in Patna

At least 30 people were injured in a wall collapse incident in Bihar's Patna district on Wednesday, according to police. The incident took place at around 2:15 pm in the Punpun area near Shripalpur, located on the outskirts of Patna, during a religious function.

Senior Superintendent of Police Rajeev Mishra stated that the wall collapsed onto the attendees, leading to multiple injuries. "At least 30 people were injured when a wall collapsed on them in Punpun area. Senior police officials immediately reached the spot and took all the injured people to a local medical facility. The matter is being further examined," he said.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the collapse, and the injured are receiving treatment at a nearby medical facility.
