A 40-year-old man, identified as Atul from Unnao district, was found dead inside a parked car in the Green Park area of Kanpur on Thursday. An engineer, in the area to replace the battery of a mobile tower, discovered the body after being overpowered by a foul smell and immediately informed the police. The deceased was an e-rickshaw driver in Kanpur.
ACP Archana Singh stated that the police, along with forensic officials, rushed to the spot upon receiving the information. The body was sent to the hospital for further medical procedures. A complaint has been filed against unidentified accused, and the police are actively investigating the case. Efforts are underway to arrest the culprits, with further updates expected as the investigation progresses.
