5000 rockets launched on Israel, state of Emergency declared

In a swift response to a massive infiltration attempt by Hamas on Israeli soil, Israel has launched 'Operation Iron Swords' in the Gaza Strip. The operation comes after Hamas fired nearly 5,000 rockets into Israel and dispatched armed militants with the intent to target Israeli civilians. Medical teams from Magen David Adom reported treating multiple casualties, including two in critical condition and others with varying degrees of injuries. In response to the crisis, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant authorized a widescale call-up of reservists, signaling Israel's determination to address the ongoing security threat.
