550 years in the making: Ramlala graces Ram Temple throne in historic ceremony

After 550 years, the long-awaited moment for millions of Ram devotees has arrived as Ramlala enters the Ram temple with chants of Jai Shri Ram. Lord Ram Lalla is set to occupy the throne today, with rituals including Jaladhivas and Gandhadhivas, along with 20 types of worship. The resolution time for this sacred event is scheduled from 1:20 to 1:28 in the afternoon.Dr. Anil Mishra, the host representative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with his wife Usha Mishra, is performing all the worship rituals. Led by Acharya Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and Acharya Laxmikant Dixit, 121 Acharyas are participating in the puja for Lord Ram's life consecration.

On Wednesday night, using a crane, the idol of Ramlala was carefully lowered from the truck and brought to the temple doorstep. Subsequently, with the assistance of a mini crane, Ramlala was moved inside the temple. Today, the idol will be installed in the sanctum sanctorum at the same place it occupied for centuries—a seat 3.4 feet high made of Makrana stone. Additionally, the area where Ramlala will be enshrined features the Shriyantra mantra crafted on a gold leaf.
