A shocking case has emerged from Motihari, East Champaran, where a 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by six minors. The assault, which took place in a village under the Bijdhari police station area, was filmed and later made viral, further compounding the trauma for the victim and her family.
According to the victim's family, the accused not only brutalized their daughter but also threatened to kill her and her family if she revealed the crime. Out of fear and shame, the family remained silent for seven days. However, after the video circulated online, they reported the incident to the police, pleading for justice.
Police has arrested three of the six suspects. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining accused.
