6 killed, several injured as truck hits bus on expressway in Gujarat's Anand

Six individuals tragically lost their lives and several others sustained injuries when a speeding truck collided with a parked luxury bus on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Express Highway near Anand early Monday morning. The incident occurred after one of the bus's tires reportedly ruptured, causing it to collide with the road divider before being struck by the truck.

Emergency services including local police, fire brigade, and medical teams responded swiftly to the scene, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical treatment.

The collision has resulted in approximately six confirmed fatalities, with the number of casualties expected to rise as authorities continue their investigation into the incident. The identities of the deceased are being established, and efforts are underway to gather more details about the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident.
