A mini bus carrying pilgrims to the Maha Kumbh collided with an unidentified vehicle, injuring seven pilgrims. The incident occurred on the Kalyanpur Overbridge in the Kokhraj police station area. The mini bus was carrying 27 pilgrims from Mathura to Prayagraj. According to Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, the accident happened when the unidentified vehicle suddenly applied brakes.
The injured pilgrims received first aid at the scene and continued their journey to Prayagraj. The pilgrims were heading to Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh, a major Hindu pilgrimage event. The event attracts millions of pilgrims from across the country. The Maha Kumbh is considered one of the largest and most significant Hindu gatherings globally.
