Reconstruction of crime scene in Kasba as probe intensifies in Kolkata college student rape case
A shocking incident unfolded in Siddharthnagar, UP, where an elderly man identified as Mohabbat Ali faced degrading punishment. On Friday, miscreants in Tighra village, under the Golhaura Police Station area, allegedly tied the elderly man, blackened his face with ink, forced him to wear a garland of shoes, and paraded him in front of the entire village.
The torment continued as the victim was made to spit, lick his saliva, and endure physical abuse. Disturbing visuals of the incident circulated on X, leading to an outcry. Mohabbat Ali, the victim, complained to the police, resulting in the arrest of four accused involved in the brutal act.
According to reports, the perpetrators accused Mohabbat Ali of inappropriate behavior with women in the village, alleging that he had initiated conversations with them and distributed his mobile number. The video evidence shows the elderly man being tied with a rope, subjected to physical assault, and humiliated in various ways.
