The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has admitted to an incident of misconduct towards former DCW chief Swati Maliwal inside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence. AAP leader Sanjay Singh condemned the incident, acknowledging that Kejriwal's aide misbehaved with Maliwal while she awaited a meeting with the CM.

Maliwal, a senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha member, approached the Delhi Police alleging assault by Arvind Kejriwal's personal assistant, Bibhav Kumar. Although she did not file an official complaint, Maliwal's visit to the Civil Lines police station brought attention to the matter.

The AAP has assured that appropriate action will be taken against the individual responsible for the misconduct. The incident reportedly occurred in Kejriwal's drawing room during Maliwal's visit to meet him. Despite the controversy, neither Maliwal nor AAP commented on the matter initially.

The Delhi Police said on Monday that Swati Maliwal, the former chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), had called the PCR number at 9.34 am, reporting that she was assaulted by Bibhav Kumar. At 10 am, Monday, she came to the police station but left after five minutes without lodging a formal complaint.
