After much anticipation, the Congress party has finally unveiled its candidate for Bihar's Patna Sahib constituency. Anshul Avijit, the son of former Lok Sabha Speaker Meera Kumar, will be contesting from this seat. Abhijeet is set to face off against NDA candidate and former Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is the incumbent MP for Patna Sahib and enjoys the BJP's backing.
With the announcement of Anshul Abhijeet's candidacy, the Congress completes its roster for all nine seats allocated to it in Bihar. Among the notable names in the party's lineup, Bihar Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh's son, Akash Prasad Singh, has secured the ticket for Maharajganj.
