Father kills 14-year-old daughter in Munger, Bihar

In a tragic incident reported from Khalifa Tola of Mubarakchak village in Munger, Bihar, a man identified as Mohd. Bahal murdered his 14-year-old daughter, Shahana, by hitting her on the head. Upon receiving information about the incident, Mufassil Police Station Head cum Trainee ASP Shalendra Kumar Singh and SI Nitish Kumar, along with their team, reached the spot. However, upon their arrival, the accused father fled the scene, while other family members attempted to mislead the police by claiming that Shahana had died due to epilepsy after falling while fetching water from the handpump.

Disregarding the family's explanations, the police took possession of the girl's body and sent it to Munger Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. The autopsy revealed that Shahana died from a head injury caused by a sharp weapon wielded by her father, who is currently on the run. The police have launched an investigation into the case and are conducting raids to apprehend the absconding father.
