In Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district on Sunday, a child residing near railway tracks found himself trapped between the wheelsets of a moving freight train, travelling nearly 100 km before being rescued by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Despite the scorching heat and discomfort, the child managed to endure the ordeal until RPF personnel intervened and freed him from his precarious position.

The incident unfolded as the child, playing near the tracks, climbed onto the stationary goods train, unaware that it would soon start moving. With the train in motion, the child realized his predicament but was unable to disembark in time. Fortunately, an alert RPF constable spotted the child stuck between the wheelsets, swiftly coming to his aid and facilitating his safe extraction. The video capturing the rescue has circulated widely on social media, evoking a mixture of concern for the child's welfare and appreciation for the prompt response of the RPF.
