Congress complaint leads to EC directive: "BJP's video targeting muslims to be removed"
Today, the bail plea of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accused in the 8.86 acre land scam in Bargai zone of Ranchi, was heard in the Enforcement Directorate (ED) court. During the proceedings, the ED requested additional time to file a reply, which the court accepted, scheduling the next hearing for May 1.
The ED arrested Soren during interrogation on the night of January 31, implicating him in the land scam investigation.
Previously, during a hearing on April 16, the ED had also sought time to prepare its response, leading to the court's decision to postpone proceedings to April 23. In his petition, Soren maintains his innocence and seeks bail as the legal proceedings continue.
