The arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sent ripples across the political landscape, especially with the Lok Sabha elections looming. Opposition parties have raised concerns over the timing of the arrest, questioning the motives of the central government. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has staunchly defended the action, emphasizing Prime Minister Modi's commitment to rooting out corruption. BJP spokesperson Pratul Sahdev remarked, "the corrupt will not go to the box under any circumstances, this is Modi's guarantee."

In response to Kejriwal's arrest, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha's central spokesperson Manoj Pandey criticized the BJP, suggesting that the party's actions reveal its fear of political rivals. Pandey stated, "the weakness of Bharatiya Janata Party has been exposed. It is happening that in what way they are afraid of the opposition. And are engaged in getting their political rivals." The arrest has sparked a fierce political debate, with parties trading accusations and defending their positions on the matter.
