Public outcry continues in RG Kar case as more culprits remain free; Sanjay Roy not the only one
Trinamool Congress General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee ridiculed the BJP's claim of aiming for 400 seats in the upcoming elections, asserting that instead of crossing the 400-mark, Prime Minister Modi's party is poised to receive a "440V shock" on June 4. His comments came during a rally in Raiganj, where he addressed the crowd.
Banerjee's sharp retort was aimed at Modi's slogan "Ab ki baar 400 paar," suggesting that the BJP's aspirations for a massive victory would backfire. He expressed assurance that the people of West Bengal, particularly those in Coochbehar, Jalpaiguri, and Alipurduar, demonstrated their unwavering support for the Trinamool Congress in the Phase 1 elections. Banerjee emphasized that the resounding response from the electorate in these regions served as a strong rebuttal to the BJP's agenda.
