BJP's Kalyan Choubey withdraws, clears way for Maniktala assembly bypoll
In a fiery address in Lohardaga, BJP state president and former Jharkhand chief minister Babulal Marandi launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Marandi boldly proclaimed that all 14 seats in Jharkhand will be claimed by the BJP alliance this election season.
Speaking on today's attack on BJP candidate, Geeta Koda in Chaibas he said that such actions signify the nervousness of the opposition.
Marandi confidently asserted, "When people are about to lose the elections, they react in panic in this manner. This time they will be ousted from Jharkhand."
Taking a swipe at former CM Hemant Soren, Marandi remarked on the issue of alleged corruption and misuse of power, stating, "As you sow, so shall you reap. Under your supervision, mineral wealth is being looted. Sand, coal, stone, iron are being looted. Even the land is not being spared. Fake land documents are being prepared and land is being bought and sold. If you protect them and do not take action against them, then the agency above them will take action against you."
