Personal comments won't help: Tejashwi Yadav hits back on Nitish

The Bihar election arena has witnessed a new twist as political leaders engage in a debate over family size. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar initiated the discourse by commenting on the number of children of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad. In response, Lalu Prasad's son, Tejaswi Yadav. 

Tejaswi Yadav, addressing journalists, emphasized that while there is always respect for Nitish Kumar, "however making personal comments won't benefit the people of Bihar."

Before speaking on his family, he should know that those who wrote the constitution of this country were 14 siblings. Baba Saheb himself was number 14. Further, he said that Subhash Chandra Bose also had 14 siblings and he himself was number 8.

Not only this, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also has five siblings. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee also had seven siblings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also has six siblings, while his grandfather had seven siblings. Home Minister Amit Shah has seven siblings and he himself is at number seven. BJP candidate from Patna Sahib Ravi Shankar Prasad ji has seven siblings.

Without taking any names, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Saturday took a jibe at his former ally Lalu Yadav and his “many children”. “Some people claim everything these days. They appointed their wives when they were removed. Now, it is their children these days. Ab paida to bahut kar diya. Itna zyaada paida karna chahiye kisi ko, baal baccha? (Does anybody beget so many children?” Kumar said.
