India's cricket captain, Rohit Sharma, recently joined comedian Kapil Sharma on Netflix's "The Great Indian Kapil Show" for a delightful and candid conversation. During the show, Rohit shared a humorous insight, revealing the two teammates he would never want to share a room with. The names he mentioned were Punjab Kings' captain Shikhar Dhawan and Delhi Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant, citing their messy habits as the reason. Rohit, who has shared the Indian team locker room with both players, joked about their untidy room habits.

In a light-hearted banter with Kapil, Rohit quipped about Dhawan and Pant's room habits, stating that they often leave their clothes scattered on the bed for days. Rohit, who is currently playing for Mumbai in the Indian Premier League (IPL), will also lead the Indian team in the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA.

"Everyone usually gets a single room nowadays, but if I had to share, I wouldn't choose Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant as roommates. They are quite messy," Rohit amusingly remarked. He further elaborated, "Their rooms are always on Do Not Disturb (DND) mode because they sleep till 1 PM. The housekeeping staff comes early to clean their rooms, so it's necessary for them to keep it on DND. As a result, their rooms often remain untidy for three to four days, which can be a bit problematic for those around them. So, I think I'll pass on staying with them."

Apart from the lighter moments, Rohit also touched upon the disappointment of India's loss in the 2023 ODI World Cup final against Australia. He expressed his expectation of fans being upset for losing the World Cup at home but was pleasantly surprised by the support and encouragement he received. India had a remarkable streak, winning 10 matches in a row before falling short in the World Cup final against Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
