While many criticized the delivery boy and demanded strict action from the company, Sonu Sood took a different stance. He suggested that instead of punishing him, the delivery boy should be given a new pair of shoes.

Taking to his official X account on Friday, Sonu wrote, "If Swiggy’s delivery boy stole a pair of shoes while delivering food at someone’s house. Don’t take any action against him. In fact buy him a new pair of shoes. He might be really in need. Be kind." Some of Sonu's fans agreed, emphasizing the power of small acts of kindness. However, others disagreed, stating that stealing is unacceptable regardless of the circumstances.
