"Only Trinamool can halt BJP, nationwide": Mamata at election rally
Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, has initiated a WhatsApp campaign titled 'Kejriwal ko Aashirwaad' following the extension of Arvind Kejriwal's custody till April 1 by a local court. Addressing the public via video statement, Sunita Kejriwal urged supporters to send their blessings and prayers to her husband on a designated number. "We are starting a drive from today - Kejriwal ko aashirvaad. You can send your blessings and prayers to Kejriwal on this number. You can also send whatever message you want," stated Sunita Kejriwal, emphasizing solidarity during this challenging time.
During the court hearing, Arvind Kejriwal himself addressed the court, questioning the validity of the allegations against him. Kejriwal highlighted the lack of substantial evidence, citing only four statements, including his own, as the basis for his arrest. He criticized the motives behind the investigation, alleging political vendetta and an attempt to undermine the Aam Aadmi Party. Meanwhile, Sunita Kejriwal expressed concern over Arvind Kejriwal's health condition during her visit to him at the ED office, emphasizing his determination despite health challenges. She condemned the legal actions taken against Kejriwal, questioning the Centre's intentions and hinting at organized protests against his arrest.
