The municipal authority has launched a formal investigation into the structural legality of his highly secure private property, named "Shantiniketan," located at 188A Harish Mukherjee Road. The prime property, which has been the nerve center of the opposition's political strategies for years, is now under deep administrative scrutiny for alleged building code violations.

According to top municipal engineering sources, the primary administrative objection centers around the unlawful structural amalgamation of two separate residential buildings into a singular massive estate. Internal regulatory records suggest that the properties were merged into a unified complex without obtaining the mandatory clearance or formal engineering sanctions required from the KMC Building Department. The civic body's latest circular notes that combining separate structural holds without explicit municipal evaluations poses a direct violation of the standard West Bengal Municipal Building Rules.

The newly issued regulatory directive explicitly commands the high-profile Member of Parliament to furnish a certified copy of the original building sanction plan within a designated timeframe. Furthermore, the municipal inspectors have demanded the submission of authorized permission certificates that would legally justify the physical structural alterations executed on the Harish Mukherjee Road site.
