Bengal Police busts Jamtara cyber scam, 46 arrested in statewide crackdown
Trinamool Congress's National General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee, has launched a scathing attack on the Congress, raising questions about its adherence to coalition principles. Speaking on the current political scenario, Abhishek highlighted the Congress's strategy in the upcoming Delhi elections, accusing it of acting contrary to the spirit of opposition unity.
Abhishek pointed out that while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is directly challenging the BJP in Delhi, the Congress has decided to contest the elections independently, despite being a weaker force in the region. "The Congress needs to introspect on who is actually deviating from the coalition principles," Banerjee remarked, adding weight to the ongoing debates within the opposition bloc.
This statement is expected to spark a fresh round of discussions and tensions within the INDIA alliance, as questions arise about the cohesive strategy of opposition parties aiming to counter the BJP in the 2024 general elections.
