Disruption in metro services between Dumdum and Dakshineswar; normal services resume after 2 hours
Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Khaled bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is scheduled to visit India on September 8 to strengthen trade and strategic ties between the United Arab Emirates and India. During his visit, Sheikh Khaled, who is the likely successor to the UAE's leadership, will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top Indian leaders.
The visit is expected to focus on building long-term, futuristic ties between the two nations, though no formal agreements are anticipated to be signed. Both sides are likely to reaffirm their commitment to enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade and security.
Modi has visited the UAE seven times since 2015 as his government worked assiduously to forge closer partnerships with key West Asian powers.
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, known as MBZ, last visited India in September 2023.
