Industrial magnate Gautam Adani has revealed plans to invest over ₹2 lakh crore in the vibrant state of Gujarat. The colossal investment is anticipated to pave the way for the creation of a staggering 1 lakh job opportunities. Addressing the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar, Adani outlined the ambitious venture, with a predominant focus on establishing a colossal green energy park. This innovative project, spanning 25 square kilometers in Kutch, is set to boast a 30-gigawatt capacity, making it a prominent landmark visible even from space.
Adani highlighted the remarkable economic achievements of India since 2014, citing a remarkable 185% growth in GDP and an impressive 165% surge in per capita income. The announcement was made in the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and fellow industrialists.
Vibrant Gujarat also referred to as Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit is a biennial investors' global business event that is being held in the state of Gujarat, India. The global summit will be held from January 10 to January 12 and the theme for this year is ‘Gateway to the Future’. Dozens of global companies and partner countries are participating in the summit this year.
The event being conducted in Gandhinagar is witnessing the presence of prominent business tycoons of the country like Mukesh Ambani, Natarajan Chandrasekaran, Nikhil Kamath. United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is also attending this the event.
