In anticipation of the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) examination in the state, the North Bengal State Transport Corporation took proactive measures by deploying additional buses on Sunday. The move aims to facilitate the transportation needs of TET candidates who rely on public transport to reach their examination centers.
Partha Pratim Rai, the Chairman of North Bengal State Transport Corporation, personally supervised the operation from the early hours of the day. Rai's proactive approach was evident as he visited various bus terminals, ensuring the smooth execution of the additional bus services.
Acknowledging the significance of the TET examination, especially for aspiring teachers, the Chairman maintained an open control room at Cooch Behar Transport Bhawan to address any arising concerns promptly. This initiative is particularly crucial as bus services are typically reduced on Sundays, making it essential to provide extra transportation options for TET examinees.
